We’re delighted to confirm that we’ve been successful in our funding application to support the research work that has commenced on the submitted stories to this website.
The analysis has kindly been supported through funding from Sheffield Hospitals Charity. We thank Sheffield Hospitals Charity for their support in making the research happen.
The research is going to complete thematic analysis of the stories, identifying common themes across the stories, helping shape insight into what recovery from Covid looks like for different people.
From the very start, when we first decided we wanted to do something to help those recovering from Covid, we spoke of the possibility of conducting research on the lived experiences that were submitted to the site. The hope being that this research can play a role along with many other similar research projects and activities in helping everyone, but in particular those in the professional healthcare sector, to have a more informed view of what a recovery might look like.
We’re excited to see the output from this analysis and want to take this opportunity to also thank all of those that took the time to submit their stories to the site, the insight we’ve gained as we’ve continued to manage this website has been invaluable and the reassurance others have gained from reading these stories, much appreciated many times over.
We look forward to sharing the final analysis.
